If your heir has a different family name, you will lose control of those titles, and either be transferred to another ruler of your family or, if there is none, get a "game over" message. Note that player control stays with the dynasty, not the titles. Due to the different types of succession law, there are different things to look out for, as well as different ways of getting a new heir. It is therefore quite important to think ahead and secure an heir from within your own dynasty. If this character is of a different dynasty from your ruler, you might lose the game. When a ruler dies, his titles pass to a new character. Be careful, many traits have positive AND negative effects - and many stick with your characters for life. An example: the character Robert de Hauteville, Duke of Apulia, can be read as Robert of the de Hauteville dynasty.Īny action you take, especially those involving the raising of children, will result in your characters acquiring certain character traits. In CK, the dynasty is known by the last name of the characters. One of your most important tasks as a ruler is to secure your inheritance for your kin, and ensure that you have family to pass the inheritance to. If your dynasty loses power or dies out, you lose the game. 9.3 The king is unmarried and childlessĪs a ruler, you are the head of a dynasty, and your fate as a player stands and falls with your kin.9.1 I have Elective Law, and the heir is not from my dynasty.8 Things to look out for in the beginning. You would want to use the green button in the bottom right before a reset to make sure you've bought as many levels as possible. The tier 1 talent called Spend It All helps to automate this. It would take some time at first to set it up by filling out the spreadsheet with all of your current information, but then it calculates which talent will have the biggest impact on your DPS. I don't have a link but there are fan made tools to help decide on the most efficient choice for each next talent level. Each one boosts your DPS based on a different thing that can be going on in the game. Things like Passive Criticals, Surplus Cooldown, Overenchanted, Set Bonus, Well Equipped, and Swap Day. This would be most of the talents in the "passive tree" section of talents. Along the way as you level up through each of those steps you'll also want talent levels that enhance your DPS output so that you can manage to push for deep enough runs to unlock the next tier of talents and so that you can stretch to get the most benefit out of Deep Idol Scavenger. Of course everything I just said, which covered a few of the talents in the "utility tree" section of talents, is just the main highlight. Going beyond Deep Idol Scaveneger you'll probably start hitting level cap on your crusaders regularly (which restricts how deep a run you can manage since your main DPSer stops getting more powerful), so the next thing to help you get more idols from each run will be the tier 3 talent called Extra Training. (Without Effcient Crusading as well that would be 193 idols.)) (At the moment as I type this I'm around area 650 in an event objective and I can reset for 1646 idols because of max level Deep Idol Scavenger, but if I was at this point without any levels in Deep Idol Scavenger (but still with Efficient Crusading maxed) it would only be 386 idols. The values shown on this talent will look small (at max level it states 50% per 100 areas, which actually means that the bonus goes up by 0.5 every area) but it really adds up to have a large impact after hundreds of areas. The biggest game changer for idol farming comes from the tier 3 talent called Deep Idol Scavenger, which applies a bonus to your idol gains based on how many areas you've cleared. This can effectively double your idol gains by the time you max it out. The next big thing for idol farming is the tier 2 talent called Efficient Crusading, which reduces the number of crusader levels required for each idol. The most basic thing for farming idols is of course the fact that it's directly related to how many crusader levels you've purchased, which means that you're going to want to buy as many levels as possible before a reset.
